JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Hilliard man was killed Thursday morning in a 3-car crash on U.S. 1 in Nassau County, authorities stated.
The crash occurred about 7:15 a.m. on U.S. 1 close to Zidell Street in Callahan, based on the Florida Freeway Patrol. It blocked the roadway for greater than three hours.
Visitors was stopped for a faculty bus choosing up youngsters on the intersection. Troopers stated a Ford van pushed by Sean Easterling didn’t cease and rear-ended a Buick sport-utility car.
The impression propelled the Buick ahead into the again of a Hyundai Accent, in accordance with the Freeway Patrol.
Easterling, 32, was not sporting a seat belt, troopers stated. He died of his accidents.
Nobody else was harm.
